«Bonjour je m’appelle Hortense, je suis responsable stratégie et planning chez HPE, mais j’ai une vraie passion pour la musique.
Je trouve que c’est un super concept, c’est hyper original et voilà je pense qu’à Paris il y a de quoi faire, il y a plein de choses à découvrir au niveau musique.
La vie MAD c’est top ! On a envie d’être original, on a envie de changer un peu d’esprit!»
Nadia Joynson, our MAD Talent hunter for London has a special message for you, MADers!
“Hi, I am Nadia. I am talent hunter for London. I’m actually a writer and I work in personal development. London is just the most vibrant place on the planet so I am guaranteed to find some brilliant talents there. What I love about MAD, is that it is multimedia and it really allows to be able to work in different formats. As artists we don’t just work in one thing, we tend to do a little bit of everything so If you are creative, like us, then we would love to meet you!”
Nadia has an eye on you, MAD talents. Stay tuned, next week, to meet our talent hunters in Paris.
#MeetTheTeam. Vincent is our Paris Business Developer.
Freshly graduated with a Master of Management specialized in the creative industries, Vincent is completely addicted to video games with more than 300 finished games! At this rate, who knows, Vincent might soon be featured in the Guinness World Records 🙂
But he doesn’t spend his days behind his laptop playing videos games. He’s also passionate about books, introspection, and art. He’s a slightly crazy dreamer (his quote) with a multidisciplinary profile; he’s usually developing partnerships with brands and media partners but you can also find him setting up our office or helping out with the setup and installation of our last #MADSession in Paris. Sounds kind of obvious when you’re a MADgang member, haha! He’s MADly ambitious and always fights for what he wants in life. He managed 27 people for over a year when he was heading the financial society of his business school and he has always admired creative people and self-made men-women such as Kevin Levine, Walt Disney, Margrethe Vestager or Elon Musk. Vincent is a Carpe diem person who loves to wake up every morning listening to good sounds of Rose Tatoo of
He’s MADly ambitious and always fights for what he wants in life. He managed 27 people for over a year when he was heading the financial society of his business school and he has always admired creative people and self-made men-women such as Kevine Levine, Walt Disney, Margrethe Vestager or Elon Musk.
Vincent is a Carpe diem person who loves to wake up every morning listening to good sounds of Rose Tatoo of Drophick Murphys and Soffio Caldo of Zucchero. His secret health tip for a shining morning is grabbing a Kiwi. Lucky him; his favorite fruit grows in France 7 months a year. Oh…and he doesn’t know how to whistle but ….MADers, please don’t tell 🙂 Another important thing to know about Vincent, he’d love to learn more about coding, and that would obviously be quite useful when you want to develop your own application or platform. But Vincent never gives up.
His motto is “Fight for a better future with confidence, live your life, live it freely. It is not the years in your life that count; it is the life in your years”.
Guess What? Emmy award winning TV producer David Geha, has joined our MAD collective of experts. We’re really excited about having him on board. Here’s what he had to say about the reasons behind his collaboration with MAD.
• Hey David, can you present yourself to our MADers?
Hi MADers, I am David Geha. I am coming to you from Los Angeles, on a rare rainy Sunday afternoon. I work as a Senior Producer on a Television show called Extra broadcasted in all the United States, in part of Mexico, Canada and even in parts of Europe.
Before that, I’ve worked in late night television. I have also been producing a Musical Comedy for the last 5 years. So, I am fully immersed in the world of entertainment.
• How has the Entertainment industry evolved during the past 5 years?
I have seen the rapid change taking place in the Entertainment world. The explosion of platforms, from which we receive news and information and I’ve seen all the challenges and opportunities that it creates for people in the creative community: Actors, musicians, designers, artists, writers and creative people of all types. That’s why I was so excited when I heard about MAD.
• Can you tell us more about your collaboration with MAD?
Finally, there is a place where creative people can go and collaborate, be part of the community, find support, and find direction.
I am really excited about all the ways in which I can be involved and the people that I can direct towards MAD. To me, the possibilities are infinite. It’s an amazing new platform. I’m very excited about it, excited to get started, and can’t wait for the future.
We’re very happy to share with you some exciting news.
Just a few months after launching MAD, we’ve successfully closed our first round of funding of 360 000 USD from Seeders Angel network, IM Capital, iSME, as well as private investors.
This has been a truly MAD year in so many ways: we’ve launched our platform, we’re a multicultural dreamteam in Paris and Beirut, we have 14 artists on our platform with some incredible projects coming up, talent hunters in Tokyo, Amsterdam, London, Paris and Beirut and we’ve already organized 3 MAD Sessions bringing together our MAD artists with our MADers and partners.
This investment round will allow us to develop additional features and services to our platform and continue our expansion in Europe and the Middle East.
As entrepreneurs, we’ve always believed in our venture and we work on making our vision a reality. But thanks to our MADers and our growing MAD community, this really has been an incredible ride. We’re MADly excited for the road ahead and we’ll keep you posted on our developments along the way!
Meet Emiliano, our first MAD Intern and the one behind our video content.
Born and raised in Argentina, Emiliano has developed an attraction to art since his young age. Every Saturday, he used to dance with his cousins and friends on aboriginal and traditional folkloric music. At the age of 15, Emiliano joined a dance company with whom he toured around Buenos Aires and the south of Argentina. A few years later, he started studying Music and Audiovisual Production. That’s how he forged his professional identity and turned to the production of artists, mixing and mastering.
Emiliano is an adventurer. One of his best memories was a road trip with a group of friends to the North of Argentina and Bolivia. With only 50$ in their pocket and no Bus Ticket, they traveled for 2 months. He’s also a person who loves challenges and exploring new horizons. His biggest challenge was to settle in Paris and to start applying for Masters in Cinema without knowing much of French. Emiliano told us that “It was a huge challenge but a nice experience to overcome”.
Passionate about his job, he doesn’t like the idea of Time In and Time Off. For him, work is a pleasure above all. However, he still has some activities that he loves apart from his job such as Football, surf and guess what? Cooking. We’re still waiting to see his culinary talents to tell you if he is a good cook. Stay Tuned!
