In this drawing, I tried to expand my technical ability by focusing on harsh perspective and foreshortening techniques. I have chosen it to be in grayscale to shed more light on the above-mentioned techniques.
In terms of the concept, The Last Airbender’s character design always attracted me, the concept is simple yet complex with the iconic arrow pointing down on his head and the air-flowy motion of the characters, is what led me to create a drawing like this.
I have also decided to go with the Nike pun because the brand has really nice shoe design, with the Air Force 1 being my favorite.
