What time is it? Summertime!

It’s everyone’s favorite time in Lebanon, a season filled with beach parties, concerts and live performances, hiking trips and camping but most importantly, carefree fun.
Check out our MAD suggestions for some cool things you can do in Lebanon this summer.

Dive in
Head south to the beautiful area of Naqoura where you can let out your adventurous side in the heart of nature. Enjoy beautiful green sceneries, clear blue waters and an overall fun road trip to escape the chaos of city life as you leave your worries behind.

The great outdoors
Summertime is a great time to bask in the outdoors. Head to Maameltein for some paragliding over the Jounieh coast where you can indulge in the beauty of Lebanese scenery or head to Wadi Qannoubine for an out-of-this-world hiking experience that’s bound to make you fall in love with nature.

Time for a laugh?
Not in the mood for a typical night out with friends? Not a problem! Head to KED on Tuesdays for a laughter-filled night. KED, an urban exhibition and events venue, in partnership with Awk.ward bring you a line-up of Lebanon’s best comedians! Care for a laugh?

Look at the stars, look how they shine for you
Who of us wouldn’t love to spend a night under the stars with the people we love most? That’s possible in the magical Aakoura up north. Set up your tents, ready your telescopes and bring a blanket for a cozy night out, under the stars.

Night at the museum
Located along the coast of Al Heri a bit after Batroun, you will find NABU, a museum that features collections from the Levant and Mesopotamia. The museum aims to promote Lebanese culture and is generally an absolute delight to visit.

Diamonds in the rough
Take a stroll from Downtown Beirut through Gemmayze to Mar Mikhael to discover some of Beirut’s best hidden bars and restaurants in the nooks and corners of the historic streets. Places like Meat the Fish, Motto and The Lebanese Bakery will satisfy your food cravings while places like Tenno, Demo, Electric Bing Sutt and Internazionale are sure to offer you a different kind of buzz!
